Recent respective form guides

Carlisle's recent home form has been pretty poor, despite the fact that they have won 17 of their 23 league games at Brunton Park this season. The Blues only tasting victory twice, losing twice and drawing twice in their last six home matches, that run of games seeing both six goals scored and conceded.

The away form of Leeds is far more impressive, tasting just one defeat in their last six and picking up four good wins, along with a single draw. Nine goals have been scored in these games, and only four have been let in at the wrong end.

Leeds's final total of 76 points, taking into account their 15 point penalty, from their 46 games contested saw them eventually finish fifth in League One. Carlisle meanwhile ended the regular season one place higher in fourth, having accumulated 80 points from their 46 games played.
