History of the Milton Keynes Dons v Carlisle United fixture

The Blues travel to Buckinghamshire on Tuesday evening for a tough looking fixture against an MK Dons outfit who have won their last six home games in a row.

Carlisle have only played the MK Dons once in their present form but they have contested eight matches against the "club" under their old guise as WimbledonFC over the years. All those games coming in a seven year period in the late 1970s/early 1980s.

The one time United have faced the Dons came last season in League One live on SKY Sports, the Blues being defeated 3-1 in early October despite taking the lead through Danny Graham after just four minutes. The home side though fighting back to win in front of 11,194 spectators thanks to a brace of goals from Peter Leven and a header from Miguel Angel Llera.

FootyMad's prediction ...

Carlisle have an average recent record on the road, and this could be the reason why Milton Keynes may only poach a narrow victory, according to the Madmen. Home win
