Carlisle welcome the Posh to Cumbria on Saturday afternoon hoping to improve on a record that has seen them win four, draw seven and lose two of the 13 matches played at Brunton Park between the two sides over the years.
Last time the two teams met at Brunton Park was in Carlisle's League Two title-winning season of 2005-06. Karl Hawley, in front of 6,511 spectators, scoring the only goal of the game in the 17th minute as the Blues won 1-0 on a rainswept evening in mid-August.
Carlisle's best of their four wins at home to Peterborough was a 4-1 victory in the old Third Division back in 1978-79, Jim Lumby and David Kemp bagging a brace of goals apiece for the Blues as 5,471 fans looked on.
