Recent respective form guides

Carlisle have performed averagely in their last six matches at Brunton Park, winning three, drawing gone and losing two. The goals for column just outweighs the goals against over this period at an entertaining eleven to nine.

The away form of Tranmere is pretty dire in their last six matches on the road, accumulating just one victory and one draw, along with four defeats, from that run of games. While Rovers have scored seven goals, a hefty 13 have hit the back of the wrong net.

Carlisle, for the first time in over a season, lie just outside the play-off positions in the League One table, in seventh, picking up 13 points from their eight games played so far. Tranmere meanwhile see themselves just below half-way in the table, in 13th, showing a record of ten points from their eight games played to date.
