Carlisle V Bristol City at Brunton Park - Match Preview

Prince set for Cumbrians outing

Carlisle's new signing Prince Buaben is hoping to be included in the squad to face Bristol City.

The former Dundee United and Watford midfielder, 25, signed a short-term contract until the end of the season earlier this week, but played no part in the midweek win at MK Dons due to outstanding paperwork.

Defender Leon McSweeney is doubtful due to a calf injury sustained at MK Dons, so Danny Livesey could return to the starting line-up, while striker Lee Miller (calf) could play a bigger role after stepping off the bench again in midweek.

Midfielder James Berrett will return to contention after missing out on Tuesday night due to a one-game ban.

Bristol City's options are boosted by the return of centre-back Aden Flint.

The former Swindon defender missed the 2-1 midweek loss to Brentford through suspension after picking up his fifth booking of the campaign and he looks set to return to the starting line-up.

But head coach Sean O'Driscoll, who has not seen his side pick up three points for 21 games, could be without Scott Wagstaff for the long journey.

Wagstaff has not trained since Tuesday night's match after taking a whack on his foot but the club are confident that he will be passed fit to feature.
