Cumbrians wait on Miller
Carlisle striker Lee Miller is a major doubt for the home game against Notts County.
Miller sustained a calf injury in last week's win at Stevenage and was replaced by teenager Mark Beck, who could make his third league start of the season if the Scot fails to make it.
Caretaker boss Graham Kavanagh has no other injury concerns as he aims to steer the Cumbrians to a third straight win since replacing Greg Abbott, who was sacked earlier this month.
Defender Reece James has returned to parent club Manchester United, but Hull loanee Conor Townsend is a likely starter after extending his stay and striker Lewis Guy, defender Danny Livesey and teenager Brad Potts are all pushing for recalls.
Notts County expect to have an unchanged squad.
After recording their first Sky Bet League One win of the campaign at home to Tranmere last weekend, Magpies manager Chris Kiwomya could pick an unchanged starting line-up for the first time this season.
Kiwomya made three changes for the visit of Rovers, recalling defender Mustapha Dumbuya, midfielder Joss Labadie and striker Danny Haynes.
Enoch Showunmi (back), Haydn Hollis (knee) and Jamal Campbell-Ryce remain unavailable due to injury.
