Carlisle United boss Paul Simpson has called on fans to get behind the team as they kick off the new season this afternoon.
The Blues host Crawley Town at Brunton Park (kick-off 3pm).
"If we can get people encouraging us it’s a much better environment for players than the noise I’m told was here for the Swindon game before I arrived,” he said.
“You need to be an incredibly strong character to be able to withstand that and perform at your best. The more we can have positivity, the better for everybody.”
