Spurs-loanee midfielder John Bostock spoke to his club's official website ahead of his side's League One game against Carlisle at Brunton Park on Saturday afternoon, Bostock saying the Robins have been working hard this week after losing three games on the bounce:

"We've been working really hard as a team and the gaffer (Paolo Di Canio) has been making sure we’ve been doing a lot of specific training. We’ve worked really hard this week so hopefully we can put it right by winning on Saturday.  We all know what we need to do but we need to execute it as a team together. We’ve got quite a few new players so hopefully the fans can start seeing us gel together now so it’s a massive game. Although we’ve lost three on the trot we know we want to be up at the top of the league so we need to get points on the board.

"I've played Carlisle but at home a few years ago so I've not been away to Carlisle. Obviously it’s a long trip but it's business for us. It will be a long journey back if we havn't won the game so we’ve got to make sure that we win. I feel like I know Swindon quite well now, my wife’s with me so it's nice but I'm here to play football so I'm going to get my head down, work really hard and train hard. I feel like I'll become a better player, learn a lot under the gaffer so hopefully I'll get my chance and hopefully get a start. Even if I don’t get a start, I'll come on and just do my job for the team. I'm settling in really well and it will be even better once we start climbing up the table."

Meanwhile Millwall-loanee centre-half Darren Ward commented to his club's official website:

“We are expecting a tough game, every game in this league is tough, when I was last in this league with Millwall they were all very, very hard games. If you go out thinking you have got a good side on paper and that you are going to win then you would be fooling yourself, so we have to go up there and give everything we have got. I played at Carlisle once with Millwall on a cold Tuesday night, it is a big pitch and I quite enjoyed playing there to be honest and hopefully we will get the result we want.”

And striker Andy Williams was another Robin speaking to the official Town website as he said:

“After the good start we had we need to regroup, have a little think, everyone has to have a good look at themselves and hopefully put it right for Saturday up at Carlisle. It's a big game for us tomorrow, obviously it’s early on in the season so you’re never going to say anything is make or break but we need to put it right now and Carlisle away is the first and best place to do it.”
