" It would be great to pick up three points on Tuesday night, but our away form has already picked up - we've had two positive results on the bounce on the road, picking up four points. We need to continue that at Carlisle. We know we can go there and win. We're unbeaten in seven games, we've been tight at the back in recent away matches and if we carry on from where we left off against Swindon at the weekend we'll be ok.
" Carlisle are playing really well at the moment. They had a fantastic result over MK Dons on Saturday and we know it will be a tough call on Tuesday night. We're under no illusions under the task ahead, because Carlisle have a good manager in Greg Abbott; they played well at our place and will be full of confidence. Our challenge is to burst that bubble. "
Meanwhile Town assistant manager Terry McDermott commented to BBC Radio Leeds :
" I feel Carlisle are possibly a better team away from home. They played well against us and made it difficult for us even though we should have won. But it doesn't matter who we play - a team from the top or the bottom - they're all difficult games. "
And midfielder Michael Collins told the Huddersfield Examiner :
" The points tally in the last three games might not have been what we wanted, but we haven't been beaten. While we lapsed a little on Saturday, we've been tighter defensively of late, and we know we have goals in this side. It's going to be tough at Carlisle, and the two games afterwards, and we might have to battle it out, but we'd all take a scrappy three points tonight. The next three matches could well define whether or not we can have a real crack at winning promotion. "
In complete contrast to MK Dons, who Carlisle hammered 5-0 at Brunton Park on Saturday, Town have not one injury concern coming into the game this evening.
Infact they are two players better off now that youngsters Spencer Harris (defender) and James Spencer (striker) have now returned to the Galpharm Stadium after respective loan spells at Curzon Ashton and Northwich Victoria. Although the Terriers still do have a massive ten other players away from the club on a temporary basis at the moment.
The referee for tonight's match is Karl Evans from Leigh, and he will be assisted down the lines by Stephen Smith from Middleton St George in County Durham and Seb Stockbridge from Dunston in the Tyne and Wear area. Meanwhile the fourth official is Scott Duncan from Newcastle.
