" We'll go there in good mood with six points from the last two matches, but this is another important one for us. After performing well in front of the cameras on Monday, we've got to perform up at Carlisle for ourselves. Winning is the most important thing, but the way we won those two games was also pleasing. They were good, solid clean sheets and we've looked positive going forward as well.
" It was nice for people to say that we didn't just go to Charlton and sneak a win, we went there to win and win by more than the one goal if we could. I'd like to think winning at a place like Charlton will give the players belief because the staff have always had the belief we can go to those kind of teams, take them on and win the games.
" The proof is there now, and that came about because we had so much energy, we were so organised and made good decisions. We've got to do that all again, because in this league we can beat anyone if we do the right things, but equally if we don't we can get beaten by anyone.
" It's important to get three points anywhere, it was a great three points at Charlton, who are nowhere near us in the table, so as long as we take three points we really don't care who they're off. That said, it can be even more vital with teams around us because it stops them winning.
" Our preparation for the Carlisle match started straight after the game at Charlton. Everyone did their warm-down and had their ice baths. We then had a rehabilitation day on Tuesday, rested up on Wednesday and had a good session on the training ground yesterday.
" We travelled up on Friday morning, and will have another light session at Stoke City's training ground, which we're very grateful to have the use of, and then we'll have a good night's sleep and hopefully put on a performance and get three points on Saturday. "
Meanwhile O's striker Scott McGleish commented to the Ilford Recorder
" We shouldn't be lacking in confidence after two victories. After winning 2-0 at home and then to got to Charlton and be the first team to beat them at home, we should be brimming with confidence. We know there's goals there and if we can create them then we will score, but what is pleasing is the two clean sheets more than anything.
" A lot of times at the start of the season when we went in front, like against Southend and against Charlton at home, we sat back a bit. That's not just the defence, that's everyone. The forwards have got to push on, the midfield have got to look forward and the defence have got to push us forward.
" In the last two games I think that's what you can see we've been doing. We've been looking to step on, keep going forward and hopefully turn one-nils into two-nils, into three-nils. "
At this time of the season Leyton Orient are fortunate not to have any real injury problems going into the game tomorrow. Their only very slight concerns, with both players extremely likely to be available for selection, being McGleish getting a dead leg at the Valley on Monday and centre-half Luke Ashworth picking up a cut to the head in a 1-0 reserve team win at Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday afternoon.
The referee for tomorrow's match is Carl Boyeson from Hull, and he will be assisted down the lines by Billy Khatib from Sunderland and Kevin Mattocks from Chorley. Meanwhile the fourth official is Seb Stockbridge from Dunston, Tyne and Wear.
