Oldham manager Paul Dickov spoke to BBC Radio Manchester and his club's official website ahead of his side's League One match at home to Carlisle tonight, Dickov first looking back on the 2-2 draw between United and the Latics at Brunton Park in late January :

"We played ever so well for 75 minutes up there, we switched off once and conceded, and then we got a penalty given against us which wasn't. We must take the positives from that match and defend properly as we did against Huddersfield and for 75 minutes at Carlisle. And if we do that, we have half a chance as we have a lot of talented players going forward who will create chances for us.

"But, we know it will be a hard game against Carlisle, they are on a great run and Greg Abbott has got them playing ever so well. I watched them against Southampton and thought they were unlucky even when down to ten men.  But, as always it is about us, how we approach it, how we attack teams, and if we do the things that we are good at then we will be OK.

"It will be tough, this league is crazy, you win two games and you are up in the play-off places, you lose two games and you are down in 14th. So, I won't be looking at any of the form that they have been having, I know Greg, we had a good chat after the game up there and he will have his team ready.

"They have got a lot of good players, they have got a lot of dangers going forward as well so we need to nullify that. But, we will be the home team, we will take great confidence in the run we are on, we are seven unbeaten, so we will try to nullify them and then work on the things we are good at.

"It is a fantastic gesture from local businesses tonight to make it £2, we want to try to get the fans in because we believe in what we are doing and the way we are going about it as a team and as a football club is the right way.

"We want to play good attacking football when we can, but the one thing that we have got is a group of players and a squad of players that will go out there and give absolutely everything they have got. We have to recover now from Saturday, we make sure the boys look after themselves, do a little bit of teamwork and we will be more than ready for Tuesday night.

"We will miss Reuben (Hazell) as he is captain and also a big influence in the changing room with the rest of my players. Thanks to my chairman (Simon Corney) he allowed me to bring in a few players in January and I am able to bring in Andy Todd who has a lot of experience and has played at the highest level. I am looking forward to seeing Andy in the team, and I know he is ready to play."
