"Millwall was a fantastic professional away performance and we can now be positive going into the game at Carlisle. They'll have a good crowd who are passionate about their football and get behind their team, but hopefully we can play our football and quieten the crowd. We showed a very good performance against Millwall, which is one of the most intimidating places to go to, so if we can do it there, we can do it anywhere.
"We've seen in the last six or seven weeks that apart from the Huddersfield game we've been a playing a lot better. We were unlucky not to get results but we've been doing that in the last few weeks, and last week (against Stockport) when we were 1-0 down we showed fantastic character and belief to get back in the game. It's a great credit to the management staff for instilling that in the players.
"You want to get a result from every game you go into and Carlisle will be no different, but they're on a good run and they've got some good players we need to be careful of. If we go there in the right frame of mind we can get a result. We've got some very good players as well and we'll go into it full of confidence. If we perform like we have been, we can give them a good game.
"The lads have been enjoying the quizzes on the coach and it gives them something to think about other than their computers! It's a bit of team bonding and it's something a little bit different. There's quite a few young lads in this squad whereas in other teams we've had more of a mixture of ages, so you have to tailor the questions for different age groups to make it fair. I haven't done it for the last couple of trips because some people don't fancy it but they're usually begging me to bring it on - but then they give me some stick after!"
Meanwhile Reading-loanee Scott Davies commented to the official Wanderers website :
"Away from home we always aim to get a point at least. We'll aim to be solid and a point would be good but hopefully we'll go and get all three. We've got a lot of pace in the side and there's a lot of pace and power up-front which is paying off for us at the moment - long may it continue. When I came back from Newcastle with Reading when we'd just lost 3-0, it was really disappointing and the atmosphere was horrible. If you get the win it makes the long trip a lot more worthy.
"The Kevin Betsy quiz is an absolute shambles and most the questions are quite difficult! I sit with a few geezers who just listen to their iPods so I have to do the quiz on my own and usually come last! But it's good fun and there's always a bit of banter, although there's one team which always wins which is a bit boring.
"Graham Kavanagh's been scoring a few worldies (world-class goals) so I'll try and stop him if I can. I used to collect him in my sticker book so it'll be good to play against him, but it's 11 against 11 and we've got to try and do our job and get a little run going."
