" Stranger things have happened. Cardiff lost their last five games last season. There's three games left, so don't count us out just yet. Whilst it's mathematically possible there's still going to be positive energy and belief around the football club. We've had a meeting as a squad, and we're all concentrating towards getting a win against Carlisle on Saturday.
" If you look back from August, we've made a lot of strides. We have a lot of new faces in, including the management staff and players, we had a bad start to the season, but we've come on leaps and bounds, won a bit of silverware, had a great day out at Wembley, but let's not forget that the season isn't over yet.
" The fans are like a twelfth player on the pitch. Away at Yeovil, when we got that goal in the last minute, it was fantastic to do that in front of them because you could see the relief. We did play well in that game, but things weren't dropping for us.
" I don't think we've had too many rubs of the green this season, so to get that goal was brilliant, and you could tell by the reaction that they enjoyed it. Their voice and the gates that we've been getting home and away does help us, and it intimidates the opposition, I'm sure of it. "
" When we lost to Swindon, everyone said that was it, but then we won five or six on the bounce since and it's been massively on. We've had another slip up, but we're still capable, so as long as it's there you'll see all the effort from the lads to win on Saturday, and then in the last two games as well.
" After the Oldham game we have to take out our frustration on the next team which is Carlisle. We beat them not so long ago and I'm sure they'd like revenge, but I think that makes it a more exciting game really. That's not to say it will be easy, we've just got to go out, get the three points and hope that Huddersfield slip up.
" I don't think Huddersfield's away form has been too brilliant, and the pitch there is a shambles, I've seen it on television and it's a hard game, Stockport have got nothing to play for so the pressure is off them. Huddersfield will have seen our result in midweek and been happy about it, so they may take their foot off the pedal, but nobody knows until five o'clock on Saturday evening.
" You want to win football matches no matter what, but there's still something on the line for us so we've got to concentrate on our own job and if Huddersfield win then so be it. But if they get a draw or a defeat, then the pressure is massively on them for the game against Colchester and we'll get that spark again. There are three games left, it's not in our hands, but we'll give it our best shot. "
