"We have been trying to achieve our dream for 24 years. I can sense people on the outside getting a bit anxious, wanting to get promoted against Bournemouth and now against Carlisle. But inside the dressing room we are just trying to maintain our standards. If we do that, we'll be where we deserve to be on May 3rd.
"Before the start of the season if they had told us we would have 82 points in April we would have been happy with that. The anxiety of getting there does not take anyone anywhere. We carry on until the end of the season with the standards we have set out and we see where we are at the end of it.
"Outside factors we will never be able to stop. Inside the club we always just keep working really hard, looking to improve whilst maintaining our performances and the standards we set ourselves at the start of the season.
"From inside the camp you are not going to see any difference. Maybe from the outside it is going to be a roller-coaster of ups and downs, the expectations are huge in what has been a very difficult league. The number of big football clubs trying to get out has proved that. We will keep going though trying to improve on the number of points we have at the moment.
"People on the outside will see the top two meeting and the rest of the division will be watching to see what happens. When you have first playing second in any league it is always a brilliant game to be involved in as a football club and a player. It's a special game in that sense, but it's only three points we are playing for out of the 15 that are still available to us.
"It's a game the players should look forward to because it's special when the team in first faces the team in second, but we have to be realistic about what it is worth. I'm looking at it as an opportunity to get the frustration of losing to Bournemouth out of our system.
"I realise that games do become a bit more significant at this stage of the season, but this isn't the final for us, it's the first of five. Carlisle are a very tough team, they work really hard as a unit and they have individuals who can win you a game. The table doesn't lie, they are there on merit and we are expecting a very tough encounter.'
"Away from home in League One you have to adapt and the football we play at home and away from home is totally different. So this game is a big opportunity for us and we are looking forward to it very much. Whatever happens we will carry on trying to maintain our level of performance at Gillingham on Saturday."
