" We have got to dust ourselves down for Carlisle now after losing. I am sure we will bounce back and get three points on Saturday. The form we have been showing has been decent. We can't just forget what we have done. We have been playing extremely well.
" Maybe Hartlepool was a little reminder, a little kick up the backside to go again. The gaffer (Gus Poyet) said to us after the game if we are going to do anything next year they are the places where you have to go and grind your results out, so we have learnt something and we'll have to store it for the next time. "
In team news for the Seagulls tomorrow, the biggest name missing from their teamsheet is former United striker Glenn Murray. The 26-year old currently serving out the second game of a two match suspension picked up for receiving ten bookings in the season. That rule ending after this weekend with only Graham Kavanagh in danger for the Blues as he is currently sitting on nine yellow cards.
Meanwhile, also sidelined for the Seagulls upfront is Gary Hart with a back problem, while left-back Marcos Painter is out with a knee injury. Also in defence, centre-back Colin Harkins will be absent with a long standing Achilles problem while lastly, as far back down the pitch as you can go, Dutch goalkeeper Michels Kuipers is out for the rest of the season after breaking a finger in training in early March.
On the flip side of the coin for Brighton boss Gus Poyet, he will have captain and influential midfielder Andrew Crofts available tomorrow, the 25-year old Welsh international having missed the Hartlepool defeat for family reasons. Finally Derby-loanee Lee Hendrie is expected to fit for the Seagulls against Carlisle after suffering from a tight groin in that loss at Victoria Park.
The referee for tomorrow afternoon's match is Kevin Wright from Peterborough, and he will be assisted down the lines by Eric Mackrell from Petersfield in Hampshire and Tony Mason from Sidcup in Kent. Meanwhile the fourth official is Tim Robinson from Bognor Regis in Sussex.
