Crawley right-back James Hurst spoke to his club's official website ahead of his side's League One match against Carlisle at Brunton Park on Saturday afternoon, Hurst hoping for a change in form for the Red Devils:

“We haven’t won in the league for four games now so we need to get a win up at Carlisle if we can. Hopefully the cup win can ignite us and whatever competition it is in it should always give you confidence, and hopefully that will be the start of another run. We are leaving after training on Thursday and staying up there for a couple of days and then it is the match on Saturday.

“You just get on with the fact that it is a long trip, if we were going to go there on Friday then I think everyone would still be tired for the game, so I think it is a good idea to go on the Thursday and just make sure we are completely fresh and ready. But, you just get on with it wherever you are playing, it is a football match at the end of the day.

“Personally I’ve just got to keep working hard and keep doing the right things, and hopefully the things I have been doing in the last two games will keep me in the team for a longer period. I would like to get a few goals, I have already had a couple of shots and stuff that have hit the target, but if I can get a few goals before the end of the season then it would be nice.”

In team news for the visitors tomorrow they just have one injury concern to report with frontman Billy Clarke having only just returned to training this week following a knee problem that has kept him sidelined for a month. Winger Kyle Bennett is back fully available though after the Doncaster-loanee was not given permission by his parent club to play in Town’s 2-1 FA Cup win at Hednesford Town last Saturday.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Tony Harrington from Hartlepool and he will be assisted down the lines by Simon Clayton from Newton Aycliffe in County Durham and Geoffrey Liddle from Darlington. Meanwhile, completing the north-east quartet, the fourth official is Graeme Fyvie from Sunderland.
