"In training yesterday, you could see the players were a lot happier with themselves and we hope to take that forward into the Carlisle game. It's a tough task. They had a good campaign last season but have found the going difficult so far and we have got to take advantage of that.
"It was important we got our first away point and that, in the light of the Oldham performance and result, we gave a disciplined display. I was pleased to get a point but we had opportunities to have made it all three. I was pleased with the level of discipline and shape in the side which we have been lacking in recent games."
Meanwhile Bulls centre-half Karl Broadhurst commented to BBC Hereford & Worcester :
"We are creating chances, which is a positive in a struggling side, and if you are struggling and not creating anything there is something to worry about. We only want someone to nick a couple of goals in and the confidence will build from there.
"The players would be lying if they said they don't look at the table. We know our position, we are rock bottom, but we try and keep tabs on the teams around us. It's all about us. If we focus on ourselves then we don't have to worry about other teams. If we get a run of three draws then that's something to build on, and if we can't win games it's important we don't lose them."
