"We've been working very hard this week in training, and if we can show the same commitment and spirit as last Saturday when we came back from two goals down then we will give ourselves a chance. Naturally that result gave everyone a lift and hopefully we will take that confidence into Saturday's game."
Meanwhile, 17-year old midfielder Ali Fuseini, who has just signed a professional contract at the New Den, commented :
"Obviously I hope to be involved at Carlisle this weekend. It's a game we are all looking forward to and can now go into the match confident after the Rotherham result. It's very important that we try and get the first goal instead of going behind and then having to try and catch up.
" If we can get ahead it will settle everyone down and then we can hopefully start to show people what we are all about as a team. It would be even better if I could score my first senior goal too!"
Fellow midfielder Alan Dunne adding :
"Now it is time for us to start winning more games. We'll be a lot more confident now in every game. We have to keep going. And we're all looking forward to Saturday's trip to Carlisle - even though the journey's a terrible one.
"The manner we did it on Saturday has made a huge difference. A great day for everyone. The players have all kept together in the bad times and now we really want to make the best of the good times.
The Lions have no fresh injury worries for the game tomorrow, perhaps the only changes being Derek McInnes and one-time United target Chris Hackett winning starting berths after impressing as substitutes in the 3-2 win against Rotherham last Saturday. Another ex-Blues target in Ipswich-loanee striker Danny Haynes will no doubt start for the South London outfit after bagging a brace in the win at Millmoor, while Jody Morris (knee), Tom Brighton (ankle), Darren Byfield (ankle) and Ben May (shoulder) will all miss the clash.
The referee for tomorrow's match is Graham Laws from Whitley Bay and he will be assisted down the lines by Gary Hilton from Wigan and Andrew Scregg from Merseyside, meanwhile the fourth official will be Mark Lawson from Northumberland.
