Town midfielder Tommy Miller spoke to the Swindon Advertiser ahead of his side's League One game against Carlisle at Brunton Park on Saturday afternoon, Miller saying the Robins need to get back on track after losing three games on the bounce:

“We don’t want to fester and drag on. We want to put things right now and we need to get back to winning ways if we want to be up there towards the right end of the table. We don’t want to slip towards the bottom and confidence gets a bit low. We’ve been back on the training ground, we need to work harder on things and what’s gone wrong the last few games. We’ve got a week’s worth of training behind us and we're looking forward to the Carlisle game on Saturday.

“The last few games have been disappointing. Preston had some bad goals conceded and we didn’t play very well, Oxford was in the last minute and we didn’t play very well then either and Saturday against Leyton Orient was a big disappointment at home. We were expecting to win the game and we didn’t perform at all.

“We’re just getting back to basics in general - hard work, teamwork, fighting for each other, getting on the ball, where the ball’s going to go - just general stuff like that. We need to be better as a team in general as a unit. Previously we were very good.  We were getting some good results so we’ve got to get back to basics. We haven’t become a bad team overnight. We just need to get back to what we were doing back then and take it into the game on Saturday.”

Meanwhile left-back Federico Bessone commented to the Advertiser:

“We need to improve a lot of things, just keep working and that’s the secret. Now we’ve lost three games in a row and we need to be together, I think that is the key. It’s not easy when you come in a new place but I’m not upset, I’m not negative. We’ve got a big side and the result will come. In this situation after three defeats the lads are magnificent. They’re a good group and this week I’m sure we’re going to speak, we’re going to sort our problems out and go and get a result on Saturday. “

In team news for the Robins tomorrow they will be missing the injured trio of Giles Coke, Alan Navarro and Gary Roberts. Sheffield Wednesday-loanee midfielder Coke absent with a groin problem, while another midfielder, in Navarro, limped out of Swindon’s 1-0 home defeat against Leyton Orient last week with a knee injury which he has failed to recover from in time for the Carlisle game. Finally former Huddersfield winger Gary Roberts is out with a calf strain, but in better news for Town boss Paolo Di Canio centre-half Troy Archibald-Henville is back in the squad after coming back from a recent muscle problem in the back of his knee.

The referee for tomorrow afternoon’s match is RAF Sergeant Darren Drysdale who is based at Waddington in Lincolnshire and he will be assisted down the lines by Billy Khatib from Sunderland and Barry Gordon from Chester-le-Street. Meanwhile the fourth official is Glen Hart from Darlington.
