Town left-back Jay McEveley spoke to the Swindon Advertiser ahead of his side’s League One match against Carlisle at the County Ground tomorrow afternoon, McEveley wondering what United’s tactics might be:

“It’s a bit of a different situation when teams come and park the bus because people aren’t used to it and you’ve got to get used to different ways of getting round it. I think we’ve now seen every scenario we’re going to see up to now, over the rest of the season. We’ve had teams come and play different formations, teams have sat back, teams have come and pressed us. Whatever teams come with now we know what we’re going to do.

“We’ll see how they set up in the first 10 minutes and how they’re going to play and we know the gameplan of how to try to get round them. It might take 75 or 80 minutes and it can get frustrating at times but you’ve got to be patient. If it takes 80 minutes to get a goal but we go home with three points then so be it."

Meanwhile Robins skipper Darren Ward told the Advertiser:

“There are some very good players here and I think we’ve had quite a few clean sheets so far this season. I think we’re just under half of how many games we’ve played, and if you can achieve that by the end of the season then that’s a great achievement. We’re on target for that.

“I remember playing at Wolves and we hit the 22 or 23 mark and that was a club record, which I found quite amazing because when I was at Millwall we got 32 clean sheets in 55 games, which is fantastic. We’re not too far away. If we can keep that going over the season then we’ll tally quite a few clean sheets. We need to keep working at it.”

In team news for the Robins tomorrow they will have at least seven players missing through injury and one through suspension for the game. Midfielder Harry Agombar (ankle) former Blues-loanee central defender Troy Archibald-Henville (knee), midfielder Mark Francis (knee), centre-half Aaron Oakley (foot), midfielder Alan Navarro (knee), midfielder Tijane Reis (knee) and left-back Alex Smith (knee) all absent.

Meanwhile right-back Nathan Byrne misses out for one match after receiving a two yellow card sending off in Town’s 0-0 midweek draw at Crawley. In some good news for Swindon boss Mark Copper though he does have Jay McEveley back available for selection, the left-back having seen out his own one-match ban during that Crawley match.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Steve Bratt from Walsall and he will be assisted down the lines by John Law from Worcester and Lee Swabey from Plymouth. Meanwhile the fourth official is Adam Nunn from Trowbridge in Wiltshire.
