" We feel if we win on Saturday it will be a big blow to Carlisle because they are three points behind us. For them, they need to beat us to pull us back into it. We will go to Carlisle trying to win there, and if we win it then we will feel confident that we can stay up.
" If we beat Carlisle you can see it being virtually impossible for them to put together a run (of results needed to avoid relegation). For them to win those last three games, we don't think it will be possible.
" We seem much more organised (under Wilson) and you can see the improvement on the pitch, even though there has been the odd home game where we haven't done very well.
" As a defender I can see the improvement in the back four and it's just a case now of putting those pieces together until the end of the season. We are hoping we can get out of this season and then next year, with Danny Wilson's own team, we can push on and see what happens.
" There were high expectations at the start of the season - we wanted to be around the play-offs. But it hasn't worked out that way and we see ourselves stuck just outside the relegation zone. But we feel confident that in the last three games we will come out on top in the end. "
Meanwhile Robins midfielder Jon-Paul McGovern commented to the Advertiser :
" The Carlisle game will be a big one for both teams. If either side gets a win then you are so far out of it. I think we've just got to look at previous performances and say 'yes, it's a hard place to go but we've got enough in our locker to get the win'.
" I'm hoping to be involved again. I know it's a cliche but I would play anywhere for the team - even if the manager told me to have a go at striker I would do it and give it my all. All you can give is 100 per cent and that's what I always do. "
In team news for the visitors they will have four players sitting on the sidelines tomorrow, three of those being out for the rest of the season due to injury. That trio being former Carlisle man Lee Peacock (back operation), captain and centre-half Hasney Aljofree (knee surgery), and Irish striker Barry Corr (shoulder surgery).
The other player missing being influential midfielder Michael Timlin who, like United's Graham Kavanagh, serves the first game of a two-match suspension for picking up his tenth yellow card of the season last Saturday just two days before the season amnesty on Easter Monday.
The referee for tomorrow's match is Colin Webster from Shotley Bridge, and he will be assisted down the lines by Scott Duncan from the Tyne and Wear area and Paul Marsden from Lancashire. Meanwhile the fourth official is David Unsworth (not the former Everton player) from Bolton.
