Town boss Lee Clark
Huddersfield manager Lee Clark spoke to his club's official website about tomorrow's game against Carlisle at the Galpharm Stadium, Clark hoping for a repeated effort after Town's 2-1 victory at Scunthorpe on Good Friday evening :

"I want more of the same from the players after the excellent win at Scunthorpe. The performance at Glanford Park was excellent and if we can replicate that on Monday, I am sure we can get a positive result. I think that it's vital that we return to the home form that we had when I first came to the club. We have still only lost two home games, but we haven't won in our last four and we need to give the home fans, who turn out every week in magnificent numbers, something to shout about.

"I have just told the players that it is now time to change things around at home, as we have not won in four there. At one stage we had turned the place into a bit of a fortress, but that has slipped a little bit in the last few weeks. Although the lads are very happy right now, I have to be a bit of a killjoy and remind them that it is now about preparing for 3pm on Monday. The players know that we owe the home fans a performance and three points.

"I hope it is not just me that was hurt by the defeat at Carlisle on Boxing Day, there was a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth about it. I am sure that all the lads felt they let themselves down with the performance on that afternoon. We know that Monday's game will be a tough one, but hopefully we can use the thought of our defeat at Carlisle and the result we enjoyed on Friday night to drive ourselves onto the win.

"They (Carlisle) went to Leicester recently and put in a terrific display to get a result and so we know it will not be easy. They are fighting for their lives and they will chase every single ball, so we have to at least match that whilst trying to get quality delivery into our attacking players.

"I expect that Carlisle will make it difficult for us as they will fight for everything throughout the 90 minutes. No player wants a relegation on their CV and the Carlisle squad are fighting for their League One lives. At the same time, I don't think that Carlisle will come on Monday and look for a draw - they really need all three points. If any of our players think that Carlisle will sit back, they will be in for a shock on Monday.

"The players came in on Saturday for some recovery work and we have done some technical and tactical work looking towards Monday's game. We have no new injuries - we are only missing Malvin Kamara, Matt Glennon and Jon Worthington, who has been struggling with a foot problem for the past week that has prevented him from training."

As Clark has alluded to Huddersfield have just three players sidelined tomorrow, pacy winger Kamara out with a knee injury, while former Carlisle goalkeeper Glennon has gone one better after recently having operations on both his knees. Finally midfielder Worthington, who spent two months on loan at Yeovil earlier this year, is missing due to his aforementioned foot problem.

The referee for tomorrow's match is Karl Evans from Leigh in Greater Manchester, and he will be assisted down the lines by Michael Denton from Todmorden on the Lancashire/West Yorkshire border and Glen Hart from Darlington. Meanwhile the fourth official is Richard Wigglesworth from South Yorkshire.
