United midfielder Chris Lumsdon spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Saturday evening as he talked about the important win over Boston :
" It was a good first-half performance and I think the crowd were expecting us to go on from there and maybe get three or four which we tried to do. In the second-half though we just took our foot off the gas really and let them back into it, and it was a bit nervy towards the end.
" I've seen all the top teams this season slip up against the lower teams who have got really nothing to play for at the minute. We just wanted to make sure we got the three points anyway we could and luckily we did, we scored four although we weren't on song.
" I think the first goal they got back was bad defending on our part, we let them get the shot in which deflected off Ceebs (Chris Billy), we were all disappointed with that. It's his first goal of the season though so he might get a bonus. On the last goal I thought he (Simon Hackney) wasn't going to shoot in the end but he said it took a bobble but he slid it in which was good.
" The lads aren't at all interested in Cardiff until Wednesday, all we were thinking about was these two games coming up, we've done this one right and we've got to make sure we do it on Tuesday as well. "
