Alex' right-wing back Matt Tootle spoke to his club's official website after his side's 0-0 League One draw against Carlisle at Brunton Park, Tootle saying he could have done better with a couple of the early chances he had:
“We are happy to come away and get a clean sheet and a solid performance against a good side and a tough place to come, but I think there were a few times we could have done better, myself mostly. I think I had a couple of chances to shoot or to set Max (Clayton) up, I think that is a bit of rustiness to be honest but it is a good point overall. We have gone on a little run of four unbeaten now and we have got a home game coming up, so if we can win that it will be five and we will definitely be in and around there.
“If you can draw your away games and win your home games then I think we have got a chance, so I genuinely think from what I have seen that we have got enough. So, we have just got to keep pushing and picking points up, because come the end of the season these kinds of points could be important to us. People might say it wasn’t the best point at Stevenage but that is a good point for us because they are all adding up and our home form is only going to get better, we want to make that a fortress but away from home it is important too.
“It is nice for me to get my face back in to be honest, it has been tough and frustrating, I had a few down moments and I fell out with the physio a few times, but it is good to be back and that they want to play me. I am just going to repay them wherever they play me because there are five or six positions I could play, so wherever they put me I will just give my 100% and see what happens.”
