Robins boss Danny Wilson spoke to BBC Radio Wiltshire after his side's 1-1 draw against Carlisle at Brunton Park on Saturday, Wilson pleased that his side kept going right to the death and got their reward in the end with an Owain Tudur-Jones deflected equaliser three minutes into stoppage time :

" There was a great show of character from the boys, all the second-half in particular. We have given a goal away again, a sloppy clearance has gone straight to their boy (Michael Bridges) and he has found the back of the net in really their only attack of any significance. That is what is disappointing me more than anything, for how we have played in games in recent times it is the sloppiness that has cost us.

" Again, it has done us again today, we didn't press the ball again when it has gone out of the box, it is a half-clearance, we haven't pressed it down and it has ended up in the back of the net. Unfortunately that is what gives the other team incentive but, and it is a big but, I think the fact that it is only one goal and the nerves that are going to be showing round here in particular, from our point of view we took advantage of that.

" In the second-half I thought that we did very well, we have had enough chances to win the game quite easily by the way. We have had some very clear-cut chances, not half chances, and we haven't taken them, but they persevered and I thought that the character to go right to the very death was fantastic. Again, with (Hal) Robson-Kanu there causing problems at the edge of the box, brought down, it is a needless foul in respect but we will take that with open hands.

" It wasn't coming for us but the areas that we got the ball in and the delivery that we had at times was excellent. We just couldn't find the back of the net, we have had good chances, we can't complain. If we had come away and won the game then I don't think that Carlisle would have complained. We kept going though, that is the main thing, and we kept getting the balls in the areas where we knew that we could cause them problems and we did that. The final ball was good at times, getting on the end of it was a problem today. "

" We emphasis free-kicks all the time, that bit of quality, that one little move in a game, that corner, that set-play, can be a catalyst of getting you goals. I think that what we ask from them is to take responsibility, settle themselves down, try to have a vision of what they want and execute it. There is no better player than you want in that position than Owain (Tudur-Jones) who is very calm and composed. He has put the ball in an area where we can cause problems, and it has got a deflection I think but I don't mind.

" For their goal it is a mistake in terms of it is only half a clearance, but it has gone to the edge of the box and we haven't closed the ball down. We have been pedestrian in getting to the ball and that has been one of the areas where I have been concerned with for virtually most of the time that I have been here.

" We are not alert to danger signals at times, we react too slow and the boy has been able to pick his shot through a lot of bodies. Phil (Smith) has not had a sight of it so I wouldn't put anything down to him but we have got to press that better and understand that areas like that are very, very dangerous from a defensive point of view.

" Billy Paynter has had two great chances, and again Coxy (Simon Cox) has had a chance off the rebound from Jack (Smith). It was one of those games but I don't think that they (Carlisle) can complain that we have got back in the game and got something out of it. When it is so late in the game you feel very disappointed from Carlisle's point of view but you have got to look at the character of us.

" A big game like this and the atmosphere was very much in their favour but again I think that our fans as well on that far side there could see us getting something. They gave us some great support over there and thankfully we have given them something to sing about on the way home. "

" A defeat would never have put doubts in my mind, we are always positive in what we think and we came here with a positive attitude. You saw how we have played, it has been the tell-tale problem that we have had over a period of time, giving a sloppy goal away and having to chase the game after that.

" Thankfully we got back in today though and you never know, we might even have snatched it at the end. It is a point, it keeps the distance between ourselves and Carlisle which is important at this stage. I will not change my opinion like I haven't from ten games ago, it will go to the last game.

" It is tightening up, of course it is, and I think that it is not the only thing that is tightening up is it you know. I think that from our perspective, if you actually look at how we have approached it, I don't think that we looked tight at all today. I thought that we were quite open and free flowing in our football at times, in a game of this magnitude I thought that they held their nerve very well.

" I hope that having a derby next week (Bristol Rovers) helps us. I hope that it does, I think that it is a great game, being at home as well we will hopefully have the advantage with the fans, a great atmosphere, they will bring a few fans as well will Rovers. They are in good form at the moment as well so we have to be on the top of our game. Again though, I will say it again and I have said it many times, we will create chances, whether we put them in the net is the argument but at the same time we will create and I think that we will create on Saturday as well.

" Of course the journey home will be better, at half-time we said that we didn't want to come back and sit on the coach and have regrets and think if only. Because you can't change it after 90 minutes, at 45 minutes at half-time when we spoke we said that we can still change it, we can still have a chance to affect the game and thankfully we have done that. "
