"There was a massive cost in getting the result against Peterborough and that cost may be born out at Carlisle. We've had to bring in Steven Leslie who's a second year scholar into the squad.
"We've got a massive injury list and will have to have young scholars on the bench to get 16 players on. There are five players from my starting line-up that are missing and that's a massive blow.
"We're off to training now to see who's walking and anyone player who is going to be involved on Tuesday will need to train today so we can work on the game in training."
In the treatment room at the moment and doubtful for Tuesday's match at Brunton Park are Richard Evans (hamstring), Jamie Tolley (broken nose), Glynn Hurst (gluteal muscle problem), Dave Edwards (ankle), Sagi Burton (ankle) and Marco Adaggio (thigh). Adaggio picking up his injury in the youth team's 2-0 league win over Rochdale on Saturday.
Drafted into the Town squad are young midfielders Steven Leslie and George Hughes, both of whom are on YTS terms at Gay Meadow. The two youngsters are regular youth teamers who have also featured for the reserves this season, Leslie has been handed squad number 26 and Hughes will take the number 29 shirt.
