United midfielder Grant Smith spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Friday morning ahead of Carlisle's away game at Swindon tomorrow, Smith talking about revisiting one of his many old clubs :

" I did take a knock at the end of the first-half on Tuesday but I ran it off. I was alright to carry on, I don't know if the gaffer (John Ward) thought that I was tiring because I have had a lot of games after obviously being out for a while. I'm alright now though so hopefully I'll be alright for Saturday. I couldn't have made a better start really, five starts and five wins. It's been a good start in obviously the way that it has gone so far, hopefully I can carry on.

" The last time I was there (Swindon) I just got booed really because I was back with Bristol City and then Walsall. When I was there I enjoyed it though and it was a great time for the club because they were doing well and in the play-offs. It was a good bunch of lads, I enjoyed it, so it will be nice to be back and see if they have forgiven me yet for leaving. I'll wait and see but I doubt it anyway so I'm sure that I'm going to get booed.

" I suppose that I have got something to prove, I went back there with Bristol City and when I went with Walsall, we lost both games and Swindon were down the bottom at the time. So hopefully I am going there now with, well I would say a stronger team then I went there with last time. We are on a roll obviously as well so hopefully we can take it from there.

" The run is unbelievable, that's six wins in a row as well and I think it's five clean sheets or four clean sheets and we've got the two away wins as well which was always the problem before. So taking that into consideration I think that we are definitely favourites for Saturday but I think that the second-half on Tuesday gave us a bit of a kick up the bum as well, because you can take everything for granted.

" So we have just got to wait and see, but I think that if we go prepared and in the right frame of mind then we have got every chance of taking something. It can only bode well, if you are breaking records then you are going to do something so hopefully, as in the league and going up more places. Seven wins in a row for the club is another one to try to tick off. "
