" It has been a good day, we have broken the journey up, we stayed at Cheltenham, we trained at about 2.30pm and had a good hour and a half there doing some bits and pieces and final bits of work for tomorrow. So they are in good shape are the boys, it is nice when we can break the journey up, it just makes the journey seem a little bit shorter than it is.
" We got most things right on Tuesday night, the players stuck to the gameplan and they set about the job terrifically well. I think that certainly the fans who were there would probably agree that we looked like winning the game all the way through. It was only actually when you stood back as a manager thinking that it is right and that we are going to get a result that it is good.
" The boys carried out the gameplan and won well in the end, which when you are only one goal ahead it is always a tricky scoreline but I thought that we were probably worth more than that. A big game and we just thought that with that slender advantage that you are always running the risk of conceding at the other end, but we have seen it out and we saw it out very well I thought.
" We didn't think that we were in a desperate situation. We haven't tried to make a big thing of it, we know the importance of the results. I think what Tuesday night has done is given us that belief that we actually are a decent side. At the minute results are of a big importance because a couple of defeats around and about now sees us in the wrong end of the table and then pressure and nerves and all that sort of stuff creep in.
" Tuesday night was a big three points but it was a big performance as well, because it showed us what we are capable of against a side that had won their last four and had just beaten Brighton 4-0 on their travels. So we are encouraged by that and we want to build on that. We don't want to do what we have been doing most of the season and drop away again tomorrow and be inconsistent and fall back into the trap of being involved in the bottom of the table scrap. "
" At times we have been missing a targetman but we want to play good football and we want to keep the ball on the ground and we want to move it out wide. I think that what Gareth (Taylor) does is that when the ball goes into him he is big enough to, if he doesn't get hold of it, to stop the defenders clearing it all the way back down the field. So we can pick the bits and pieces up in the middle of the park rather than having our defenders fighting for the next ball.
" He has got experience, he knows the game and I just thought that he gave us a platform to attack from. Everything that went into him stuck, he popped it off back to our midfield players and in turn getting it out wide and then we can get the ball back in the box. When the ball went into him he kept possession and gave us something to build off and it was an encouraging first performance from him.
" We have to have a look at him, we are trying to build something, he is probably the wrong age but of the right sort of ability. You have to have a look at him and we don't want to be filling the squad with too many old players. If we feel that his fitness levels are decent though, and they looked pretty decent on Tuesday night, and we feel that he can do a job for us short-term, maybe next season then we will look at that. It all depends on how he goes between now and the end of his month. It was an encouraging performance from him, it is something that we will have a look at.
" That type of player when they are only 19 or 20 tends to cost you a hell of a lot of money so the reason that you get them is because they are at the wrong end of their career. If he has still got his legs and he has still got his energy though then we will have a look at that. We don't want to make any promises or put it down or put it up at the minute, we just see how his month develops and if we feel that he can do a job then it is something that we will have a look at.
" He (Danny Graham) is struggling tomorrow, he had a session yesterday and it has knocked him back a little bit. He is 75% fit and with all the games coming up, we have left him behind because he struck a ball in training yesterday and he could still feel it. So with the attacking options that we have got we felt that it was the right thing to do not to risk him, obviously under Dolly's (Neil Dalton's) medical thing. So we have left him to recover over the weekend and hopefully he should be back in full spin for the game on Tuesday night. "
" I have told Luke (Joyce) that we will need him to play his games to get his career and to get him in the shop window because it looks like the chances of us offering him a contract are slim this season. So we want to help Luke, he is a wonderful lad to work with, he is a terrific kid and we want him to go there (Northwich) and get some games and try to attract a bit of attention to himself. So he goes to Northwich and we have really helped them as well to get it set up and he is going to go and hopefully perform well to attract the attention of other clubs.
" He (Gavin Rothery) is with us now, he is down here and he has done ever so well. He is down here with the squad in an 18-man squad so he is doing the right things. What we have got to see, obviously later on this season and certainly next is that if he can break into the team and make an impact. If we decide that he can then we will run with it, if we don't think that he can then we will leave him to do other things.
" He is encouraging at the moment though, he is a very slight boy, he is only a wiry sort of character with a slim build and you might think that physically he might not have it to prove himself in this league. He has got ability though and that is the key, the word is ability and we have got to see if we can think his potential can take him to our first team and help us progress as we are.
" I think that they (Yeovil) are in a tricky situation aren't they, they are under a little bit of pressure. The last couple of results haven't been great for them and I think that what we have got to do now is heap pressure on them saying that they have to get something out of the game tomorrow. That might lead to some edginess on their part, as we have done possibly in the past.
" Nothing is ever easy down in Yeovil though, it is a tough place to come and get results, rather like the places like Brighton and Bristol Rovers away and places like that. We have done alright at those sort of places though and hopefully tomorrow we can do the same. We are confident that if we perform like we did on Tuesday night, and get our game together, that we are hopeful and really optimistic that we might get a positive result. "
