" I think it is difficult to analyse the game, because first and foremost I am very disappointed because we went back to December and probably January. We played better than the opposition and we lose the game, so there are things you can say and there are other things that me as a manager don't, so it is not a very good day for me to talk about what happened on the pitch really.
" It doesn't matter if it was free-kick or not for their first goal, if you have got Ian Harte on the pitch and you play with a brain then you don't give fouls around the box. We gave one after three minutes and one that was a goal.
" Maybe if you don't know players in League One you can accept it, but I think Ian Harte is very well known for his qualities. After that we make a double mistake, or a triple because we lost a goal in a very easy situation. We didn't mark and Petr (Brezovan) came out and made the wrong decision, it is too many times, too many times.

" I think in the first-half Ashley Barnes was outstanding on the ball. He held in the loose ball and he made us play, he couldn't get in the other end of the action and after that then there were too many balls in the air. I think he did pretty well in the first-half, of course he is looking for the goal and it is easier when he is coming on from the bench.
" But I am not going to complain, it is not about complaining about making players feel better or worse, it is about the team. I think I have said many, many times that this is not tennis, it is not an individual game and you have to play and win and lose as a team.
" If somebody is having a bad game then you help each other and you try to cover. If somebody makes a wrong decision then you help him to save him. Today we went back to the times where if somebody makes a mistake it is 1-0 to them, and then if somebody makes another mistake it is a goal for them. "
" So every single mistake we make it is a goal for the opposition and that is how teams are going to suffer. We are and we where and we are still from two years ago up to now, so there is nothing to hide in there.
" I hope we can put it right on Tuesday, I think there are options, some of the players sometimes don't realise how lucky they are. Because you get this result today and then you think that later you can go back and put it right.
" The other things is something that they have to prove because they have done it, the problem is today, week in and week out. Saturday, Tuesday, not every now and then, because then you find yourself in the bottom of the table.
" That is the difference between probably us and Swindon who don't play great but they win games. Why? Because they are a proper team defensively. Brighton in the last two years has been a group of players trying to play together on the pitch and that is not a proper team.
" We have not got to 51 points so we will not talk about contracts. I don't know if they want to talk about it because it looks like they don't. We must get the three or four extra points. "
