Rangers midfielder Emmanuel Ledesma spoke to the official R's website after his side's 4-0 Carling Cup win over Carlisle tonight, Ledesma talking about what it felt like to notch his hat-trick in front of the home fans at Loftus Road :
"I'm so happy. It was a great night and to score three goals in front of the QPR fans is a dream come true. I would like to dedicate my goals to those who showed their faith in bringing me here - from the directors - Flavio (Briatore), Bernie (Ecclestone), Lakshmi (Mittal) and Amit (Bhatia)- to Gianni Paladini and Iain Dowie.
"The fans were fantastic. They are very loud at Loftus Road and the players really appreciate it. To score three goals in front of them was amazing and I am very happy we won the tie. It was a perfect night.
"The first goal is what I like to do most - cut in from the wing and get a shot in on goal. It was a good strike and thankfully it hit the back of the net. The goal celebration is for my friend Matteo Alberti. I can't say why though!"
