Carlisle number one Keiren Westwood spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey on Saturday evening as he gave his opinion on the last minute 1-0 win at home to Cheltenham this afternoon :

" I think that we won the league on it, getting a goal and grafting, obviously the goal came late but we just carried on grafting all the way through. You expect there to be words at half-time because we are at home and we're looking to push on and we're looking to beat teams. We beat them in the end which is always a positive, you've got to take positives from that.

" You can only commend him (Danny Livesey) really, he's been magnificent since the start of the season and he's scored two great goals and a very important one today. I was right behind Bridgey's (Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's) first one and I saw the keeper going down on one knee and I thought it was rubbish from Bridgey. Then it popped up, it was an unbelievable volley to be fair, I didn't know it was him, he came running back and I asked him if he'd scored and he said yes. I thought oh God, it was unbelievable from him, he's kept it down well.

" It's a fantastic start, obviously we didn't play well today but we ground out a result, at the end of the day that is all that matters. People look at the score in the paper tomorrow and it will say Carlisle 1-0 Cheltenham, that's all that matters at the end of the day.

" Livesey has been magnificent since the start of the season and Ravo (David Raven) tucking in, I think Ravo is a centre-half isn't he let's be honest. He's an unbelievable centre-half and he did well again at right-back, it just shows his versatility, he's gone to right-back and done well and gone to centre-half and got a bang on his head for his troubles. He's still there though ready to head it again.

" I think what we've done since we got promoted to League Two really, we've said that we'll get as many points as we can as soon as possible up until Christmas and just see where we are. We did that to win League Two so by the time Christmas came we were top and we never left it. Obviously I'm not going to start saying that we are going to win the league because that would be stupid. If we can keep going though and keep the confidence high between the boys then you just never know. "
