Town manager Lee Clark spoke to BBC Radio Leeds and the offiical Huddersfield website after his side's 2-0 League One win over Carlisle at the Galpharm Stadium, Clark saying Huddersfield got both their goals through some good football :

"We set about the job well and we certainly competed better than we did last time against Carlisle. We were determined, we had a good shape to us and even in the first half before we scored we created some decent opportunities, openings with good football, and we scored two good goals in the end.

"Two great passes from Kevin Kilbane and two very composed and neat finishes from Gary Roberts, and he could have got a third just before half-time, just stretching on the lob to reach the ball but he did terrifically well.

"We drilled into them yesterday that it couldn't be after the Lord Mayor's Show following Arsenal, but the thing that we have to remember is that it is easy to do that because they put so much effort in. They would have had to work so hard to go even close to even doing the result they did on Sunday because they were up against one of the best footballing sides in Europe.

"They keep the ball for fun and they move you around so you have to work to your maximum and give an unbelievable amount of effort just to stay with them. I think that is why you have seen one or two I think of my players cramping up towards the end."

"Hopefully that is all it is because Anthony Pilkington has felt a little bit of cramp in his buttock and the same with Joey (Gudjonsson). It has looked worse than it is when he has jumped up like that but I think he has just cramped his hamstring. It was just obviously the fatigue they had setting in from the tough, tough game on Sunday and the lack of recovery time really.

"Ian Bennett has made three fantastic saves in the first-half, a double one from the free-kick and then one that the lad (Francois Zoko) couldn't have hit it any sweeter really from the cross, it was in the top corner and he has flipped it over the bar.

"So, terrific, I can safely say Ian has never let us down at all this season in terms of every game he has played he has done the job spot on. I think he is a great example for young Alex (Smithies) and the good thing is that Alex will want to learn off him, so we are pleased with that.

"We have played Carlisle four times this season and all four games have been different so who knows how the JPT will go next week. Carlisle will never stop working irrespective of the score - we know that from our games against them this season."

"We are massive underdogs going into the game but we know that we can score goals against them. However, we need to make sure we are solid at the back like we have been for the last couple of games in the league.

"Gary (Naysmith) has played in four league games for us this season and teams are yet to score against us when he does. He is a very composed defender and you wouldn't have known after today's performance that he has been out for a couple of months.

"I am delighted that Danny Cadamarteri is back amongst our ranks; I didn't want him to go in the first place but that is all water under the bridge now and we are ready to get him involved in the first team. While he was with me during his first stint at the club he was fantastic to have around, he possess fantastic pace and is an excellent finisher.

"He is delighted to be back at the club, he is happy to be back in an area that he and his family are familiar with. So now the ball is Danny's court, it us up to him to prove his worth and force his way into the team."

Meanwhile Terriers double goalscorer Gary Roberts told the Huddersfield Examiner :

"It was great to score, but Kevin (Kilbane) did all the hard work by spotting my runs and supplying two inch-perfect passes. He's a great player with loads of experience and it's fantastic to have him on board. Carlisle are tough opponents who work very hard, but the goals came at a great time and gave us a bit of leeway so that we could settle down and try to play our football."
