" We've created around about four chances in the first half, Karl Hawley through on goal, Michael Bridges had a shot, Kevin Gall has had a shot and Peter Murphy has had a great save off the goalkeeper from a free-kick. So, the return chances-wise isn't bad considering we didn't really pass the ball as well as we could, but we've defended with our lives. Then in the second-half towards the end they threw everything at us, apart from the kitchen sink I suppose, and we've stood up and been counted, and I'm very, very happy with a point.
" I'd have taken four points from the first two games definitely, it's what everyone keeps on saying, if we keep on getting four points every two games then we'll be happy. Coming off a great victory with everybody on a high and then coming to a place which is very, very difficult to try and win, they had a 3-0 win over the weekend so they must have been sky-high themselves. I thought we've coped with everything really well, I thought we could have passed the ball a little bit better but defensively everybody has done their job again.
" Kevin Gray had a little bit of a tight hamstring, we didn't want to chance it, we needed everybody's backs against the wall I suppose for the last fifteen minutes, while making sure that we had fresh legs on as well. So, that was the only reason, his hamstring was a little bit tight so we didn't want to take a chance. I needed height with Wayne Allison being right up the middle, so Arni (Paul Arnison) played on the left and dealt with his winger reasonably well, and (Zigor) Aranalde and (Peter) Murphy dealt with everything else, so I'm very pleased.
" I think he (Keiren Westwood) is a top class goalkeeper, I think he's got everything and long may he keep lots and lots of clean sheets. As I say, I'm only slightly disappointed because we didn't pass the ball as well as we possibly could, but hey, we're the new kids on the block, sometimes it's not be going to be as easy as what we think. I have to build the players up and say that I think that we can win this game, but at the end of the day you would probably take a point considering they won 3-0 away last week. It is a learning curve, and as I say, hopefully we're trying to use it, as, if it is a fear, it's got to be a positive fear, and that positive fear has got us four points so far.
" Everything is organised for Saturday, the players who weren't involved today will train tomorrow, the rest of the boys who have played will be off. We'll meet halfway down, because some of the boys still travel, we're setting off at 9am and we're training at Bristol to just get the travel out of the legs, just to get rid of all the rubbish in the body. Then Friday evening we'll have a good sleep, a good meal, re-hydrate ourselves all the way down and then we'll be ready and raring to go for Saturday.
" I think you have to get used to the long journeys, when the players are on the bus they watch DVDs, some of them play cards and some of them listen to music so by the time we get to where we are you don't realise how long you've travelled. I think the first two results make everybody sit up and say Carlisle must be half-decent as they haven't conceded a goal yet over two games. We've played one game away from home against a team who scored three goals a couple of days before, so yes it's putting a marker down, of course it is. Four points out of two games is good and I think hopefully everybody can see what we are trying to do, and we've just got to keep that going, but it's still early. We may have only scored one goal, but it's one more goal than Doncaster which gives us three points, and exactly the same amount of goals as Chesterfield to give us another point, so I'll take that all the time. "
