"We had seven out, and people can say 'Go and get another seven', but where are you going to get them from? We already knew we had three long-termers, but we had some more injuries last week and you can't do anything about that. But it gave other people a chance and they played to their potential against a decent team in fine form.
"We have had a great season so far and it could still be fantastic by getting more points to try and force our way into the play-offs. We've been in the top half all season, holding our own against very good teams - not just competing with them, but beating them.
"But you have to put the ball in the back of the net and defend properly and really we haven't done both on this occasion. We conceded two soft goals from our point of view, and that's the most disappointing thing. But I think the team played to its potential and that bodes well for the future. I put the two young lads on later on, which will do them the world of good.
"But results are important and we've lost the game. Millwall had an experienced striker (Neil Harris) who put the ball in the back of the net, and our goalscorer (Karl Hawley) is injured at the minute. I was happy with the first half. A lot of people don't realise Millwall are on a real run at the moment.
