"We were fortunate to be only two goals behind at the break. I told the players we had to try and get a bit of pride back in the second half.
"I wanted to see charisma and pride for those fans who had spent six hours on a coach and paid to come and watch us play. Carlisle manager Paul Simpson admitted our second-half display was the best he has seen at Brunton Park this season.
