" I'm very pleased with the goals. We were unfortunate to go behind, but the most important thing was to win the game. I've never scored two in a game before, so it was special in that respect, but as I say, the main thing was for us to get the three points in the bag. It was a great team performance with everyone doing their jobs and putting in a shift. In the end we deserved to come out of it with a win.
" We have worked on the routine for the second goal a few times in training but hadn't had the chance to do it in a game situation until Saturday. Thankfully it paid off and proved to be the winner. Our confidence has been getting better and better as the games have gone on.
" There was a big lift in the team as we went into the game and hopefully this will continue at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday and in our forthcoming games. We had a good discussion last week where we set ourselves various targets and that has been positive for us. It's two wins on the bounce now and it gives us something to build upon.
" Going to Sheffield Wednesday now will be a big occasion. I'm sure that we will be well up for it and if we perform like we did in the this game then we'll give ourselves a great chance of getting something from the game. It will be similar to last season when we went to Leeds and got a win. If we can get on the front-foot early on it will work better for us, but we've just got to play our hearts out and work hard for each other.
" Saturday's victory was long overdue and now we want to keep winning games like that for the fans and everyone associated with the club. I hope that as many of our supporters as possible will get along to Hillsborough and really get behind us. We've been working on the training ground and it was about time, especially with the second one, it came off. The first one was a fantastic free kick - there's no goalkeeper (Adam Collin) who was going to stop it - and we could have even sneaked another one. "
