Orient boss Martin Ling, who was speaking exclusively to Orient's official website www.leytonorient.com, has described the promotion six-pointer with United as their "biggest home in years". Ling has also highlighted the need to keep prolific Carlisle strike duo Karl Hawley and Michael Bridges quiet if Orient are going to get a vital three points :

"It's the biggest home game this club has had for a few seasons, there will be a large crowd and it's important that we get a result, especially after losing a bit of ground last week. We've not been in this type of situation for a few seasons and I want to see a reaction from the team after the defeat at Torquay.

"Every time they've needed to bounce back this season they've done so and hopefully they won't disappoint this time either. Having a game in hand is always useful, but it's better when you can use it to jump over people rather than just catch them up, so we need to close that three point gap to the top four before our spare match comes around.

"I've got a full squad to choose from with Matt Lockwood back from suspension and there are no injuries amongst the senior players so I think it's only about the third time this season that there won't be any scholars involved. We put on an excellent performance up there and showed what we can do, they've had some great results lately and won 5-0 in their last match but they've been hot and cold away from home.

"They'll be a proper test but I saw them recently at Boston and they struggled for parts of the match before bombarding them as it went on. Karl Hawley is a danger up front with his pace alongside Derek Holmes and Michael Bridges plays just behind them. Bridges is too good for this league if he's allowed to be so it's up to us to combat their danger with some flair of our own."
