Orient's Adam Chambers spoke to his club's official website after their 3-0 defeat at home to Carlisle, Chambers thinking that the red card for JJ Melligan was a bit harsh :

"It wasn't very good, to be fair. We didn't start well, went behind and obviously there was the sending off as well in the first half. Then you've got a mountain to climb against a team like Carlisle, because I thought they were a decent side. We just didn't get going and paid the penalty for it.

"I think with the first goal, the guy had a lot of time to cross the ball, we should have put a lot more pressure on him, got in his face a lot more. The second one as well, the ball should have been cleared. We've got to really improve on that in the next few games, as we need to get six points now to get ourselves back in the race.

"To be honest I didn't get a very good view of the sending-off. JJ (Melligan) had a tackle against Millwall that the guy was sent off for so I suppose it's a similar thing, but it seemed a bit harsh. JJ's not that sort of player really.

"Normally I play centre midfield but Stephen Purches has been out, so I've been playing at right-back, then the gaffer (Martin Ling) tried to do something and I've moved around a bit second half. I haven't played centre-back for a long, long time, but it's one of those things.

"We feel the next two games are winnable, so we've got to go all out to win them as we've got some difficult games in April. Obviously not today but in the past few months we've done alright against the top teams, so hopefully that's the same from now until the end of the season. I don't think we'll be able to rely on goal difference though."
