Rovers's 20-goal frontman Richard Walker spoke exclusively to Bristol Rovers's official website about the game coming up tomorrow as he talked about his side's need to react well to their disappointing 1-0 home defeat to relegation-threatened Rushden and Diamonds last week :

"Everyone is still gutted after Saturday, and there isn't a lot you can say about it. We've just got to get on with it. It's in the past now, we've got a massive week ahead of us, and then two very big games. If we can get two wins from those two matches then maybe things won't be so bad.

"Rushden came with a plan to get the ball forward and it worked for them, and once again we struggled against a side playing the more direct way. At least Carlisle are a good footballing side, so maybe that will work in our favour. We seem to do better against teams that like to pass it and play so perhaps this weekend will suit us more.

"Nobody knows why we can't kick on, especially at home. It's frustrating for us, and it must be so frustrating for the fans. Something seems to stop us performing well at home, and with five games left, it's going to let us down unless we can find out what the reason is.

"We beat Carlisle at their place comfortably earlier in the season, and not much has changed to them apart from Michael Bridges. They're flying, but we've proven before that on our day we can beat anyone, so although they've won seven on the trot, we're quietly confident we can get a result.

"After this weekend I think we'll know whether we're going to make it or not. We've got two tough games, but there are plenty of teams around us, it's still tight, and it's down to us to put in two very good performances and to give it all. We all know that this weekend is make or break time, so we have to give it everything we have and then we'll see then whether we're good enough or not."
