Brighton's Derby-loanee midfielder Lee Hendrie spoke to the Seagulls official website after Albion lost 2-1 at home to Carlisle, Hendrie looking back on another substitute appearance for himself :

" I want to be playing regularly, I haven't played too many games, but I appreciate that has been down to the recent form. Nonetheless, I'm really enjoying it here, the gaffer (Gus Poyet) has been superb and training is very good. It's a great place and the lads have helped me settle quickly.

" When I watched the Tranmere game from the bench, I thought I'd signed for Real Madrid; the way the team were passing the ball was fantastic. Hopefully on Tuesday against Gillingham we can get back to that level of form. I've come to try and make a difference; I want to play some games and show everyone what I can do. I'm out of contract in the summer but would like to stay here.

" We deserved a point and I even thought once we got the goal we could have won. It was a sucker punch, a real blow. Petr (Brezovan) thought he could get the ball and maybe he didn't have to come, but that happens in games its just one of those things. We now have to respond to it. "
