Karl RobinsonMK manager Karl Robinson spoke to BBC Three Counties Radio after his side's dramatic 3-2 injury-time win over Carlisle at stadium:mk, Robinson likening the Dons fans to Southampton's after the Saints came back from 2-0 down to beat his side 3-2 at St Mary's last weekend :

"It was a good game, a really good game. I remember reading the quotes from Nigel Adkins after the Southampton game and he was very respectful towards us, very, very respectful. I thought the way he praised the fans was magnificent and they had a massive affect last week on Southampton. Ours are just as good if not better and I thought at 2-1 down we weren't playing great, I will hold my hands up, I didn't think it was one of our best performances of the season.

"But, from somewhere the fans got this voice and this drive and we then nicked the goal and it was electrifying for the last five minutes. It is a special place this when you get a group of fans and a team that is willing to die for them. It is a very special place and it is something that we need to bottle and consistently have week in and week out, because it is the only way we are going to get anywhere, is creating an intimidating environment, but also a pleasure for us to play in front of, and that is what they have been all season.

"I said earlier in the week that I couldn't do this job without John Gorman and the backroom staff, I couldn't do it without the fans either. What you get with good staff and good fans is players who want to fight for you and want to play for you, and want to play for the football club and want to stay here for years to come. You have seen what it meant to them when we scored, it was a very, very special time and probably a moment I won't forget for a long time.

"I said to the chairman (Pete Winkelman) after the game, I don't think I have ever seen a celebration like that, I have been here on some special, special nights, you are talking the year that we won the league which was a special occasion, I have never seen a celebration like that ever. I have also never seen the whole bench on the pitch and the whole staff jumping in the air, I nearly fell over trying to jump on Stuart Searle, so I hope nobody sees it because I hit my elbow in the process, it will be on Soccer AM next week I'm sure. But, it is just because I really care, and I do care, and so do the fans and so do the players, and so do the staff, and it was great to see.

"We are looking at other results now, you have got to, you take very game as it comes but you are stupid and naive if you don't look at what is going on around you. You do have to keep concentrating in games week in and week out with high performance levels, but you have also then got to get to a stage in the season where you have got to know what you are doing and how you are doing it. We want to go up automatically, we do, we have still got some big games to play and I have never set my goals any lower than that.

"But, there is almost a mini-league in the top eight as it has appeared now and it is about the top eight and we will see on the 7th of May when the season finishes where we all are then. But, the teams who finish in the top two deserve to be there, the teams who finish in the play-offs deserve to be there for a reason as well. It is a wonderful time, it is a fantastic time to be the manager of this football club and be a fan or a player associated with it."
