Fleet manager Liam Daish spoke to BBC Radio Kent after his side's 4-2 FA Cup first round defeat against Carlisle at Brunton Park, Daish saying his players put on a good show:

"The lads put on a good show of themselves and we conceded 30 seconds before half-time. But, we came in, didn't feel sorry for ourselves, got ourselves back onto level terms and I thought from there we could have gone on and won it. The opportunit arose but we probably weren't aggressive enough in taking that opportunity.

"Little Lanre Azeez I thought was excellent, first-half he got into great areas and it is just that final ball, and that was us all over to be fair. We probably looked a little bit more vulnerable when, not from Carlisle's general play, but probably when we were in decent areas with the ball and we gave it away too cheaply.

"But, some of the players performed excellently today, Lanre Azeez, Liam Bellamy did very well and I was really pleased for them. I just think there was a real chance to be giant-killers today, and it showed itself and we could have been a little bit more aggressive and a little bit more probably not have shown Carlisle as much respect as we did.

"I think it is just having that bit of belief and making the right decisions at the right time. As I said, I think when it got to 1-1 I could only see us going on to win it, because I thought it was a bit fortunate them being 1-0 up at the break and once it got to 1-1 I think there was an opportunity there to go on.

"Then it is down to players there to go and really grasp it and be aggressive with it and enjoy it and push on to take it and take that opportunity. But, we didn't, we probably showed a little bit too much respect and lacked a little bit of street-wiseness, especially for their second goal.

"We have been on the road a lot now and another third or fourth game I think it is on the spin away from home, so we can't hang about regarding feeling sorry for ourselves. We have got a big three points to try to go to get on Tuesday (at AFC Telford). Phil Walsh had to come off today because about a little bit with his ankle, but I think everyone has come through pretty much there or thereabouts.

"I think Nathan (Elder) and Walshy are competing against each other and Liam (Enver-Marum) and Moses (Ashikodi) are competing against each other upfront. I think you can see that and at this moment in time we have looked solid, we have created opportunities and chances but probably not taken as many as we can. I think I might change it again on Tuesday, might swap it about a little bit and give people a breather or whatever. There has been a lot of effort put in today so we might need a little bit of a shake-up."
