Scunthorpe defender Jamie Reckord spoke to BBC Radio Humberside and his club's official website after his side's 0-0 League One draw against Carlisle at Brunton Park, the Wolves-loanee saying the Iron were happy with a point in the end :
"I think it was a well-earned and great point, a scrappy first half from our point of view, we didn't play our best, both teams had a few chances and I think overall a draw was a fair result. We came here to get three points but with how the game turned out we would have been happy with a draw. We are still unbeaten, I think that is ten now, and hopefully we can take that as a positive and move on and hopefully get three points on Saturday.
"We did alright in the second half but I felt like we could have done a lot better. Carlisle are a good team at home and they haven't lost a game here for a while so with them being sixth in the table it was always going to be tough here, so we are happy with the result with that. Coming to the end of the season you want to go unbeaten instead of dropping form and that is what we are doing at the moment.
"They had a few decent chances, we both did really, there weren't many chances to pick out really so I think our point was well-earned. We haven't really thought that the point has made us safe or anything like that though, we are just thinking about what it is in front of us and we are taking it a game at a time. We are just thinking about what is above us now and not below us.
"A mid-table finish is always going to be the aim, you have got to think positive in football, so with going ten unbeaten now we feel like we are capable of mid-table. With the team spirit everyone is confident, we are going into games to win a game instead of going a bit defensive and I feel that that is massive. With the mood in the camp everyone is confident and happy and excited, so it is positive.
"I am enjoying my football here too, I just want to play as many games as possible. I just want to develop as a player and what a young player just wants to do is play as many games as possible. I have got the chance now, and it helps my confidence and I am privileged to play for Scunthorpe, so I am just happy at the moment being here."
