Millwall assistant manager Joe Gallen spoke to BBC Radio London after his side's 2-0 defeat against Carlisle at Brunton Park yesterday, Gallen disappointed with the result but hoping that the Lions can bounce back in their upcoming play-off games against Leeds :

" We did come to win the game, there was none of this waiting for the play-off games. We knew that it was going to be a tough game, Carlisle fighting for their lives and trying to stay up. A bigger than normal crowd for them who got behind them and they scored a really good goal early on which set us back. Definitely it was a disappointing scoreline for us but we have these games coming up now and we are looking to bounce back.

" My feeling is actually that it was closer than what everyone seemed to think, just due to the crowd and the passion that they conveyed onto the pitch. You would think that they were totally dominant but Neil Harris had a really good chance, well made from Lewis Grabban, just after they scored. Normally a chance that he can put away and I am sure will do in the future.

" Jason Price is through on goal and we don't know why the referee (Neil Swarbrick) hasn't given us a penalty or maybe even sent their player (Richard Keogh) off, he is through and it is a one v one situation. Gary (Alexander) has hit the bar and we have also had numerous crosses and lots of set-plays which today we didn't get on the end of.

" So in terms of chances and efforts and balls into the box it is actually a closer game than maybe what everyone seems to think. Don't get me wrong, I still think that the best team just edged through in the end but had one of those chances for us gone in then we would probably be looking at something different. "
