Michael Raynes
County centre-half Michael Raynes spoke to Pure 107.8FM Radio after his side's 0-0 draw against Carlisle at Brunton Park, Raynes happy with a point after 12 league defeats in a row for the Hatters :

" Everyone is buzzing to be fair, we have had a lot of defeats, we wanted to put that right today. We would have liked to have won but we will have take a draw from this place as it was a tough game. I loved playing with Danny Swailes today, he is experienced, I am going to pick up so much from playing alongside Danny. He is so relaxed and I am hoping I can get as much as I can from him and the gaffer (Gary Ablett) because they are experienced again and they can only help me learn.

" Jabo (Ibehre) and Jemal (Johnson) together, I think they complement each other, and I think that shows the strength of the MK Dons squad when they can let players like that go on loan to us. I think Jabo upfront, I have played against him in training, he is so hard to get the ball off and JJ should get 101 chances playing with him. So I think that is what we need upfront and hopefully we can get a few more goals and hopefully now a few more wins.

" The clean sheet was massive, it is so disheartening not getting a clean sheet as a defender or a goalkeeper when you work so hard and it just seems to be a deflected shot or like Tuesday the penalty and it takes the wind out of you. There is not much you can do to put it right, they (Swindon) have got a penalty and it is heartbreaking because of everything else you have done right. A clean sheet today and hopefully now we can push on from that and get a few more and a few more goals, which will hopefully in turn lead to wins.

" It was a great save from Fonners (Owain Fon Williams) in the last minute, he has got that in his locker and I think fair play to him, he needs a lot of credit for what he has done there. He has concentrated until the last minute of the game and pulled a save off which saves us making it 13 losses. "

" We are absolutely buzzing with a draw here, it is a hard place to come to, it is not a nice ground, it is not a nice changing room, you come here, you do your work and you get out. So we will take a point and hopefully we will push on from there.

" I think the referee (Chris Sarginson) was always going to give Jabo a second yellow card. He has made the decision right in my opinion with the penalties, I don't think any of them were penalties. So I think he needed to even it up and the lad (Scott Dobie) has smashed Danny in the face with an elbow and you can't get away with that.

" I think the crowd were on the referee's back but it is just one of those things, it happens in football, he had to even it up. If it hadn't happened then maybe we would have gone on to win the game but it is football, just one of those things, you pick yourself up and you carry on with it. Jabo is not too disheartened, he worked hard today so he will be back for us soon.

" The new lads are absolutely brilliant, they are the nicest lads you could bring in. Everyone has clicked, we have got quite a friendly atmosphere in the changing rooms anyway. So we try to make everyone as welcome as possible, especially when you are bringing in quality players like this, they just fit in well and the respect is already there for them. So they will just hopefully fit into the side and they have been showing promise of what we can achieve this year. "

" It will be nice to see a few old friends against Brighton on Tuesday. But when we get on the pitch it is all down to business and you put that aside. We will be looking to get a win over them and drag them back into the fight with us. Liam (Dickinson) is probably one of my best friends in football but you can't be off your game with Liam because you know what he is like.

" He can just turn it on and he can become from nothing to a matchwinner in the space of two seconds. So I will need to be on my game with Liam, and you have got Glenn Murray as well who is a great player. So it will be a hard test for me and Swailesy next week but I am looking forward to it.

" 12 wins in the rest of the season is definitely achievable. I think even from the first half of the season we have shown signs that we can do it but the luck has not gone our way. So we are hoping now, all of us together, that this result today is a change in our luck for us.

" I think we need to get little things, if we had nicked a 1-0 win, maybe we didn't deserve it because we were under the cosh, but that is what has been going against us. It is going to change for us and we are fully confident behind the gaffer (Gary Ablett) and Gez (Paul Gerrard) and Hughie (McAuley). We are fully confident in what they are doing and we have faith in them to turn it around for us."
