Huddersfield manager Lee Clark spoke to BBC Radio Leeds after his side's 3-0 defeat against Carlisle at Brunton Park, Clark suggesting that everyone at the West Yorkshire club will stick together despite the disappointing performance :

" We are disappointed, myself, my staff and my players. They know that they are better than what they have produced. I didn't really have a clear view of what happened on the first goal, I don't know if it has slipped out of Alex (Smithie's) hands or what, or taken a deflection. I wasn't too sure from where I was standing so we could have prevented that one. Without seeing the video I don't really have the full incident to mind.

" The second goal is, their lad (Danny Graham) stands on the ball and it ends up setting nicely for Michael Bridges. Then we defended poorly, we switched off from the free-kick that originated for the third goal. So we are disappointed, after a great run that they have been on and the way that the lads had played and trained every single day.

" For us to put in a little bit of a performance like that is disappointing, but, as I have said to the players, we have to bounce back. We have to bounce back quickly, we have got a game coming up in two days time, a tough game, and we have to be up and running for it. Whatever happens in the dressing-room stays in the dressing-room and I have always been a believer in that. So I would never ever divulge what has happened in there.

" All I can say though is that everybody is disappointed for the fantastic following that we had, terrific numbers, terrific support all the way through right until the end, even at 3-0 down. So we as a group are very, very disappointed for each other because we win together and we lose together, but we are very disappointed for them as well.

" I have got to say that Phil (Jevons) and Danny (Cadamarteri) when they have come on in the two games that I have been involved with have made a fantastic contribution. So they have obviously played their way into my thoughts for the game against Scunthorpe. I felt that before that we didn't create many clear-cut openings and we weren't testing their back four and their goalkeeper. "

" So it was just needed, I was actually going to make the change, the lads were stripped and ready before the second goal went in. It just was a bit of a coincidence that when the second goal went in they came on, so unfortunately I couldn't get them on quickly enough to try to change the game in our favour. We are disappointed, we have conceded three goals and we are disappointed with at least two of them I think.

" We were a little bit unfortunate with the second one but certainly the first and the third we were disappointed with. We can't have that disappointment for too long though you know, we have just had a chat in there and talked about certain things and certain areas that we need to improve on. What we have just said is that we have got a massive game on the horizon very, very soon as well, so we have to start getting ready for that.

" The players will be in the swimming pool tomorrow, all the players that are involved in the club. We stick together, we won't have separate camps where we would have a group maybe training and a group in the pool doing recovery. We are all going to get together and be together, because it is easy saying that we have got great togetherness when we win the game. It is having that togetherness when you lose and when you lose heavily, so you have got to stick together and that is certainly what we will be doing.

" Obviously they are all players that I have inherited, but what I have said all along is that they are a fantastic group of lads. My opinion hasn't changed because of today, they have still given their best and in the last half an hour they created some chances. So they never gave in, it was the performance that was disappointing, it was a performance that was poor, so we are not hiding from that fact. I am certainly not going to use the old one that that they are not my players and it is not my team though.

" I am with them 100% and they are certainly with me because every single day I work with them they are giving me everything that they have got. Now our quality was lacking today in terms of our passing and ball retention but I have got a hell of a lot of respect for those lads in that dressing-room. Because I know that they are desperate to do well, so we are going to stick together, no problem.

" I have got no doubts that we will get a big backing from the fans against Scunthorpe. To be honest with you it is what I have come to expect now. The two games that I have been in charge and also they have been around the city, the support has been absolutely phenomenal. So I just accept that as the norm now because I think that they are fantastic fans who get behind their team and are desperate for their club to do well. "
