"We have gained a point on the play-offs today, and we will wake up in the morning thinking that we took a decent point against the league leaders. So in that respect we have got to be pleased, but just at the minute it feels like we have dropped two points.
"The longer we stay in with a chance of making the top seven though, the more exciting it's going to get. And let's take this to the last game of the season I say. It's a strange division, usually you need to get 70 points or more to make the play-offs. I don't think that's going to happen this year, and there's just no single team in form challenging for that last play-off place.
"Every team is dropping points when they should be winning, and we are no different. Lennie (Lawrence) has a saying that it's where you are when the music stops that matters, and I think that's how it's going to be right to the end. After last week's performance I was delighted with the response from the lads. They took everything on board we'd asked of them in the week, and they passed the ball around like we know they can. Movement was good, and we looked like a side this week.
"We have shown all season that against the top sides we can pick up points, so we didn't go into today fearing Carlisle. But whatever the surroundings of today's game were, I was just pleased to see us get somewhere back to near the level we're looking for.
"We're disappointed that we didn't win the game, and we're disappointed that their goal came from one moment of poor concentration. But they look like they are going on to win promotion shortly, and good luck to them for next year. They play good football, have a good manger and a good man in charge, and although today I'm disappointed we didn't take three points, I wish them well."
