Doncaster goalscorer James Hayter spoke to BBC Radio Sheffield following his side's 1-0 win over Carlisle at the Keepmoat Stadium yesterday, Hayter saying that Rovers are going to have make use of all the players in their squad to the end of the season as they push for promotion :

" We've got a great togetherness here and everyone is delighted, I thought that we played really well today but just couldn't get that goal. Luckily I got it in the end, I'm glad that we got the three points and hopefully it sets us up for next week now. I stuck a knee out at it, it hit my knee and I think it hit their lad as well and sort of bundled in over the line. I'll take them anyway they come though, I'll take 20 of those a season but we were just delighted to get the win and the three points.

" I think that he (Steve Roberts) was trying his best to try to claim it for his first of the season but after we have watched it on the video it's quite clear that it comes off me, I'm just delighted. I thought we had a lot of pressure, we got quite a lot of balls into the box and we were probably a bit disappointed not to actually make their keeper work a bit more. I thought the lads played well and we put them under a lot of pressure, they hardly got out of their half really in the first-half.

" We knew that they would come out in the second-half and put us under a bit more pressure but I thought that the lads weathered the storm well. We were just delighted to get the three points in the end. I was very disappointed not to start today, I want to start every game but in the previous two home games against Southend and Northampton Mark (McCammon) has played and the team has won and done really well.

" It's part and parcel of being a squad, we're a team here and we want to achieve something as a squad and it's going to take everyone. We need everyone pulling in the right direction and I think that's what we've got here. We need everyone to push us up, we've got a big game coming up next week and this sets us up nicely for that.

" You look at the competition for places now, you look at the bench today and you see the quality that we have still got. Paul Heffernan is still to come back and Graeme Lee so we've got a really good squad and people know then that if they are not performing on the pitch then they'll soon be out and vice-versa. It's good to keep everyone on their toes, we've got a good team spirit and a good squad and we're going to need everyone until the end of the season I think.

" I think he (Dennis Wise) knows that we like to play football and we're not scared to mix it as well. We're not just a pretty football team, we can fight and scrap and they know that they will be in for a tough game I'd have thought. We've had a good Christmas, we've obviously got a win today and we'll be going there very confident thinking that we can get something out of the game. "
