Huddersfield manager Peter Jackson, who was speaking to Town's Official Website, talked about the Terriers' 2-1 win against the Blues this afternoon :

"It was a game of two halves. I thought the first 40 minutes of the game we controlled it and looked comfortable and took a two goal lead. They score just before half time to give them a major boost and in the second half we sat back and survived an onslaught. Credit to my players because they stuck at it and defended.

"We have certainly played a lot better this season and dropped points but today we did not play well in the last 45 minutes and we have come away with all three points.

"We looked nervous and we were just whacking balls clear and it was coming straight back. We could not get hold of it and I think it took us 20 minutes into the second half to string two or three passes together. We sat back and invited pressure on us but, as I say, we've got three excellent points.

"Today's performance and last week's were totally different but we have got six points. We survived a second half onslaught and when the ball hit the bar from their free-kick I thought it was going in and then Matt Glennon saved right at the end. But that system has picked up some valuable points this season and it got us three today.

"It looks like Tom's injury is similar to Taylor-Fletcher's injury so we will have to assess it and hopefully it is not as bad as we first feared. I've still got Fletch and Mirf out, possible Tom and they are all out at the moment. Things are looking better because we are only six points off second and eight points off the top and it certainly looks better than it did three weeks ago."
