Tim Krul
United's loanee goalkeeper from Newcastle, in Tim Krul, spoke to BBC Radio Cumbria's Derek Lacey after Carlisle's 1-0 home win over Cheltenham, Krul pleased with the efforts of his defenders in front of him :

" We said yesterday to each other that it is the most important thing for a club like Carlisle, we need to get a win. To win 1-0 at home of course is the best thing we can. The manager (Greg Abbott) said at half-time that they are a difficult team to play against with ten men behind the ball. He just said to us to be patient and that the goal would come, luckily enough and happily enough the goal came.

" I was looking up at the sky for Richard Keogh's header, it was just a little communication mistake, but we know each other now and it is good for the next game. It was nice to play first-team football, especially when you see the supporters in the second-half getting behind the team. It is always good to see and when we walked off the pitch everyone was happy and three points in the bag.

" I heard the lads talking about a long trip to Millwall in the changing-room, it is a nice little trip but I am looking forward to it. It has been a while but it is always good winning games and get the team up in the changing-room, and everybody is happy again. We weren't really under any real pressure and I think that my defence held the long balls, they just sent them back to where they came from, they were amazing today and they really helped me out today. "
